We continue to follow Health Authority and Provincial guidelines to protect the health, well-being and safety of residents, staff and volunteers. It’s not over yet but we are nearly there. We’d like to thank everyone who worked so hard to get us to where we are. It’s been a long journey. But look how far we’ve come.

We are determined to do our best to protect our residents, staff and volunteers
Since the start of this global pandemic so much has changed. One thing that will not change is our commitment to you. Our top priorities are the health, well-being and safety of our residents and staff.
From the onset of the novel coronavirus pandemic, we have implemented numerous proactive measures at our residence to minimize risk. As well, we continue to adhere to all the guidelines and directives set forth by provincial and regional health authorities. We acted decisively; quickly implementing visitor restrictions and screening, closing resident common areas and suspending group activities to mitigate the spread of the virus. We have worked with the public health authorities to help facilitate vaccination of Abbeyfield residents and staff.
We are committed to being here for our residents, their families, and our team members as we move forward, following Public Health Guidelines. We will update this page as new information becomes available.
